Decree XIX - Master Michael

It can be said that the most talented, gifted and exceptional among us can find themselves lonely so far above the mediocre. Such isolation can inevitably lead them to a state of mania where they attempt to reach beyond their power - to bring us into their vision. When brought low by ill fame, suspicion, rejection and the inevitable hardships of time, our failing to accept their alieness, they may overcompensate in seeking a world better than any of us can imagine being real, or ever hope to visualize.
This is the case of Michael Jackson - singer, writer, artist, King of Pop Music. The pain of the difference between the world he could create in his music and that we all dwell in was too painful, and likely led him into abuse of shallow chemical relief.
May the beauty he gave the world forever remain the impression we hold of him, more so than the idiosyncrasies of a pained spirit. May he continue to inspire us to a better world of our own making.

- Keeping Reverence Too much like or dislike can be very narrowing and corrupting. It seems to lead to obsession, which certainly is unhealthy? A computer metaphor is in order.
