Welcome to the 200th article of Da Dominion, formerly Digg’s Dominion, formerly psychotherapist Dr. Harold Kauffman’s Paranoid Delusional Case Study #124. The last journal is a joke; thanks to state social services budget severances and insufficient evidence, I’ve never been institutionalized for my offensive outbursts.
Ninety-nine posts ago, in Centennial: Story of the Source, I figured the content count by excluding Dominion Cast postings - which take four to five times as much work as my usual written ramblings. Fuck that. After 28 Casts I’ve the right to call this the Tricentennial, but an entertaining submission of sound is a singular service. Still, I don’t designate Decrees as articles because of their brevity. Gratefully, no gawds of geekdom died this day - so I write this.
Much has changed in the past six months: Da Dominion banner is cropped leaner; Youtube vomit along the top; more ads in the side banner; no more annoying preview snapshots; faster page load; default link color now red/burgundy. Such massively miniscule changes charge an appreciative audience to pay for the pleasure they enjoy. Despite this enervating economical era, your donations have allowed us to buy gum - a single fresh stick or as much recycled sticks as they want - for those diehard fans that discourse on Dominion Cast weekly.
What we lack in dinero we exceed in EXPANSION. Our readership has octupled, without in vitro fertilization nor government financed C-section. From Facebook to Fear the Boot, our Truth is gradually gaining ground on the internet. Hundreds of lonely and ostracized net “friends” and Tweet followers are spreading the word and as many downloads of our podcast - with no letters from distraught parents! Multitudes of mediocre movies avoided. New TV shows prejudicially dismissed. Thousands of role-playing game sessions that suck less. An average daily ranking of 500 on Blogtoplist. 500 out of what? What the hell is Blogtoplist?!? Dozens of entries in our spam queue, like other parasites, show the health of this big sexy beast. THE WORLD IS NEXT!!!
Thank you to all those net friends, our readers, families and actual real-life face to face friends that don’t know what a blog is but happily nod in a faux-impressed face at the mention of our efforts. Your faithful perusal and feedback are a big support, but in case they aren’t: BUY OUR SHIT!
