Dominion Cast 9 - Dissertation of the Dead
We discuss various portrayals of the undead on TV and in movies with two amatuer experts: Tribune Hunin and Citizen Steve. Supplemental points are raised by Dan, Rib and me to define these demonic archetypes. From black and white zombie classics to the full-color crimson vampire shows of today to ghouls of our games - the dead are dissected. The roots of the myths are revealed and admission to the seductive appeal of the UUUUNDEEEEEAD.
And, it’s not even near Halloween.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
I’m an Art major, not an English major.
White Zombie was an amusing Bella Lugosi film, zombies were the product of voodoo witchcraft.
28 days was first instance of “fast” zombies.
Night of the Creeps would fall into whatever category the RE4 villagers count as.
T Virus falls into the first category.
Asimov’s third law states that any sufficiently advance technology will seem as magic.
We gotta know how they turned or that they reanimated to count.
He could say that gayer if he really tried.
I see mutants as left-handed.
Buffy is atrocious, Angel was worse.
The Buffy movie was cheesy and awesome!
Only vampire series I could stomach was Forever Night.
I couldn’t see “With a little help from my friends” EVER be the theme for Buffy.
Once Bitten is an early Jim Carry Vehicle I have yet to see.
Rice Vamps are sophisticated.
Geller is retarded and couldn’t act her way out of a wet paper bag.
Forget Angel, Watch Forever Night.
Being into vampires must be a chick thing. My wife likes them also.
Mental note: Rib likes balls, got it.
Dead Gentleman productions are one step ahead of you: Syphilitic Ninja Vampires
You guy would be so much fun to tear up a karaoke bar with.
That is an interesting question: does a highlander’s gathering of the quickening equate to the eating of brains or drinking of blood.
Jason’s unquenchable thirst for revenge is what keeps him coming back.
Kruger could really only be classified by Egon Spengler.
Ghouls in D&D have higher brain functions and fine motor skills.
Fun show.
