Ignorance is bliss and health care workers have no holidays, but I was gifted with time and a half. Without a job I guess I had time on my hands to wonder but had no intention of researching it myself. I am easily plagued with a guilty conscious so I try not worry about the ugly history that hides in the corners of every celebration that is deemed worthy be our government.
