Dominion Cast 2 - Duel of Words
An insanely anal discussion of satire: what it is, ain’t, and who uses it by Anne (DairyQueen), Hunin and yours truly. From biting satire, we talk about the prevalent cynicism in our culture that fuels it. We then conclude with views on the politics that are victim to the lowered expectations brought on by our social climate.
Better organized with … not as bad sound quality (click our ad links and we can get better hardware).

The terms are debatable so that you’ve defined them up front is welcome. I accept that didactic intent distinguishes satire from spoof or parody.
The New Yorker cover is satire.
IKWYDLS does need to be derided.
I believe that satire is used by Liberals more or at least used more overtly. John Stewart, Steven Colbert, Michael More, George Carlin, The writing staff of shows like the Simpsons all have broad exposure and all have clear liberal to leftists views of the world.
Peter Gabriel is unequivocally awesome.
One of the negative effects of PC is that everyone is being raised to believe they are special to the point of princessness, this is what I feel has led to a growing since of entitlement on the part of many in this country. The more pretentious you are the more you are likely to feel entitled. Many consumers, respectless of socioeconomic background tend to behave as though they own you because they have come to spend money in your store.
Colin isn’t running for anything. And hes a centrist.
Rock the Vote, and by extension Vote or Die are insipid.
Dick Gephart is a mouthpiece.
Interesting talk. I’ll definitely catch more.

Yeah, liberals do use it alot more, not sure what I was thinking of. Since 911, it’s about the only defense they can muster against the Texan regime.
Thanks for the feedback
